Virtually any spot with dependable, steady side-onshore gusts of wind (10 to 35+ knots), large open bodies of water and fantastic launch parts are suitable for kite skiing. Most kitesurfing takes place along ocean shores, usually off beaches, but it can also be practiced on large lakes and inlets and occasionally on rivers. Since kite riding relies closely on favorable, consistent breeze conditions, certain places are likely to become trendy and looked for out by kiteboarders.
